Mellor House 3 Apartments

The Mellor House 3 is a lovely three-unit apartment building built in 1925 offering short-term and long-term corporate housing. Each apartment has been updated, remodeled and fully furnished with free high speed wireless internet service. Off-street parking is available, and the bus stop is just two short blocks away. There are nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance. No matter whether you stay short-term or long-term, The Mellor House 3 will be your home away from home!

By accepting a reservation, the guest agrees to a strict cancellation policy. A 50% refund will be credited to the guest up to one week before arrival (less fees). Checks are the preferred method of payment. Credit cards are accepted with a 5% processing fee.

Apartment # 1

Spacious and bright, this beautifully restored and updated apartment includes two bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room, a newly renovated kitchen, and a remodeled bathroom.

As you enter the apartment through the original oval-topped front door, you step into a small welcoming entryway. The first room to your left is the brightly lit living room with a convenient walk-in closet. The living room is furnished with a new sofa, comfortable chairs, side tables and lighting. A television has been provided for your viewing needs.

The next room you enter is the fully furnished and decorated dining room, which includes vintage table, six matching chairs, a hutch and buffet. The thermostat is located on the wall in this room and can be adjusted for your comfort level.

The kitchen is directly behind the dining room and contain simple white cabinets. The counters are a mottled tan laminate, and the floor is wood. Large windows make the space bright, and all windows have blinds for privacy. There is a single bowl stainless steel sink, a refrigerator, a gas oven and stove top, a microwave, a small 18″ dishwasher, and a full-size washer and dryer. The drawers and cupboards contain towels, hot pads, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and flatware. A coffee maker, hot air popcorn popper and toaster are available for your use.

The newly remodeled bathroom is to the left of the kitchen. It has white tile floors, a shower, a single bowl sink and vanity, and a new toilet. Eight sets of towels are available for your use. Some are stored in the bathroom, and others are stored in the bedroom dresser drawers.

The large bedroom is located across from the bathroom. It features a beautiful cream-colored comforter on a queen size bed with comfortable Orthopedic Pillow-top mattress and box springs. There is a closet for your clothes, a dresser, a bedside table and lamp. The two side windows can be opened for ventilation.

The small bedroom is located beside the bathroom. It features an attractive blue matelasse comforter on a full size bed with a comfortable Orthopedic Pillow-top mattress and box springs. There is a closet for your clothes, a dresser, a bedside table and lamp. The window can be opened for ventilation.

Apartment # 2

Spacious and bright, this beautifully updated apartment includes two bedrooms, a large living room, a dining, kitchen and full bathroom.

As you enter the apartment from the second floor landing, the first room you enter is a very large and bright living room, which includes the original fireplace and bookshelves. The room is decorated with large, comfortable red couch and curved leather chairs. It also includes tables, lamps, artwork, and a television for your viewing needs.

The next room you enter is the fully furnished dining room, which includes a vintage table, six matching chairs, a hutch and sideboard. A Pottery Barn red wool carpet, a lovely chandelier, and the sun streaming through the large window compliment the furnishings. The thermostat is located on the wall of this room and can be adjusted for your comfort level.

There is a closet for your clothes, a dresser, a bedside table and lamps, as well as lovely artwork on the walls. The side windows can be opened for ventilation.

The small bedroom is located beside the bathroom. It’s attractively decorated with vintage plates and features a white matelasse comforter on a full size bed with an Orthopedic Pillow-top mattress and box springs. There is a closet for clothes, a dresser and a floor lamp. The window can be opened for ventilation.
